Consolidation
September has been a month of consolidation
Team members have been finalising the information required for the two walks – one of the village and one of the outlying parts of the village especially Arleston and Merrybower.
These walks – together with the additional information which has been collected will then be used the basis of a booklet about the village.
Plans are already in place for a presentation in the village later in the year.
IT Update
The absence on the Project I T Manager in France for the entire month of September – with poor and slow internet access has slowed down progress on the Website and indexing of the information which we hold.
Backup copies of the information are being maintained and a start has been made on the indexes. At present not all of the information we hold is available for general release. Where we are uncertain about ownership or copyright the information is being held separately –but will appear in the index

The current Index (very much a work in progress) is available at that location as an Excel File called “Barrow Index.xls”
Since this is a work in progress not all of the files have been uploaded to the Cloud but relate to the current positions of the files on the local Network.
It is anticipated that the index will be completed over the next two months.
